During the 1980s and early 1990s, Maserati experienced difficult years. The models struggled to achieve the 'temperamente' Italian image. The luxury Maserati 3200 GT coupe, with its flowing lines, put the sportivo Maserati back on the map, thanks Giorgetto Giugiaro! The 3200 GT stood as the basis for the continuation of the 4200 GT and later the Gran Turismo. The successful Maserati 3200 GT is the last model completely independently designed by Maserati.
Experts go wild from: the distinctive aggressive lines, oval grille and, of course, the boomerang-shaped taillights. By the way, the "boomerangs" were the first LED developed taillights of a production car. The beauty is realized and admired more and more by the day.
The through-developed 3.2 growling V-shaped eight-cylinder with, yes, two poppers of turbos puts 370 horses to work. With its 490 nm of torque, the fiery block delivers a big punch in the back, virtually equivalent to the six-monthly appointment at the chiropractor. Consequence the health insurance can be screwed down again.
The balanced chassis creates a 50/50 weight distribution. A sharp roadholding which allows the Maserati to seriously get around corners. Be careful with the throttle though, the 370 horsepower can run surprisingly hard from the stable. Therefore, avoid the dyke roads in the beginning otherwise it will be a double appointment at the chiropractor anyway.
The dark blue upholstered seats, black carpet and Alcantara headliner are in original and very good condition. This beautiful Maserati 3200 GT is unrestored and always maintained. Full history is known and documented is present.
