Vehicle Description
The original Volkswagen Beetle was the right car at the right time
in America. Sales increased in America every year from 1960-1965 as
more Americans looked to downsize from the large gas guzzling
sedans of the 50's. Here was a small car that was capable of
carrying 6 people with excellent fuel mileage and reliability. Not
to say that the Beetle was all utilitarian, I give you the Beetle
cabriolet pictured here as example. This gorgeous 1964 model
cabriolet has been completely nut and bolt restored and is in
Concours condition. The body and pan were taken down to bare metal,
the engine and transmission completely taken apart and put back
together, along with all new suspension, brakes and steering. The
body was finished in its correct red with stunning tan trim, canvas
roof, and interior. The entire process was photo documented and a
photo scrap book showing the process accompanies the vehicle. This
gorgeous bug has traveled only 392 miles since restoration, and
that's a shame because this Beetle drives better than new. From the
steering feel, the ride, the ease of starting, and the smoothness
of the engine, this Beetle is absolute perfection with four
whitewalls. They simply do not come any nicer than this, and to
restore one to this level would cost you twice the asking price if
not more. If you're in the market for an early Beetle with an
absolutely impeccable appearance and drive ability, this is THE
only one for you! Contact Brian at 352-307-1968 today!! Financing
