Vehicle Description
This 1970 Ford F-100 has awesome V8 power, a comfortable interior,
and a sleeker style. So as you look through the full package, you
can really tell this is a classic truck with a lot more driving fun
in mind.
Ford offered plenty of blue shades in the 1970s, but nobody is ever
going to mistake this rich shade of deep blue for being one of
them. It's a driver-quality presentation, which means a nice
metallic shine that goes well with chrome bumpers, but nothing is
too fancy to get you nervous when hitting the road. As you dig
deeper into this truck, you will really see that they added
features that add both style and purpose to make for a truck you
can fully enjoy. For example, those 15-inch wheels not only add
sporty style but also let you fit wide tires. And the full liner
paint in the bed is there so that you can get real chores done on
the weekends. The good body lines, bright bed rails, clean grille,
and the gas tank moved to under the bed are all about making the
right mix of fun and functional.
The blue returns inside on the doors and dash, and now it's
complemented by a clean black style. You can see the mix of
upgrades and practicality again with details like the later model
seating that gives you a fold-down armrest for bucket-like
comfort... or fold it up for a practical jump seat. The rubber
floor has a clean look and gives you the kind of old-school
ruggedness that lets you jump in and not worry about muddy boots
(especially with the deep channel floor mats, too.) There are nice
features like tinted glass, a sliding rear window, and an AM/FM/CD
stereo with aux input. Plus, the woodgrain steering wheel and fully
upgraded gauges make this a nice driver's atmosphere.
Under the hood is a 351 cubic-inch Windsor V8. It's claimed to be a
377ci stroker motor, and with the upgraded cam, it certainly has
the power and growl to feel upgraded. There's also a Demon
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, a full MSD ignition
system, and a nice set of headers feeding the dual exhaust and
Flowmaster mufflers. If a solid power package, and the three-speed
automatic transmission has a stall to keep you in the powerband.
That makes for a fun time on the streets. And even if you're just
looking to cruise, there's power steering, power brakes, front
discs, and wide Cooper Cobra tires.
Upgraded, bright, speedy, and stylish - this is a great all-around
power pickup. Don't miss out, call today!
