1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7 Litre Two Door Fastback. #'s matching Q
code 428/345hp with rare 4-speed and power front disc brakes.
Original color was Springtime Yellow with Black vinyl bucket seats.
Currently painted Hot Rod Black. The body is in fair condition, it
looks to have been bumped in the front RH corner, the front bumper
is slightly bent, and the RH fender was replaced with a good
original. For the most part the car is super solid, some rust on
the bottom corners of the doors and some heavy rust in the trunk
pan, the floor pans and rockers are about as nice as you will ever
find! The Interior looks to be all original and most would need to
be replaced for a show car. The dash pad is cracked and warped, the
driver's seat is torn, and the carpet is worn out. It's just out of
garage storage since 1996, we got it running and parking lot
driving but it will need to be completely gone through before it's
put on the road. I think the motor was at some point gone through
and it sounds healthy, the transmission also shifts just fine
through all the gears, no noises from the rear differential. Very
solid project that compared to most Galaxie projects out there
would be a fairly easy restoration. Please Note The Following
