One of the very rare 190 E produced in miniseries under the authorization of Mercedes, by the German tuner AKH-CARO
There is no precise number on the creation of these special 190E Cabriolets, but various sources speak of just 14 cars made.
As reported on the declaration accompanying the proposed car, this 190E was subjected by AKH-CARO to various modifications and reinforcements to the floorpan before going out on the road, which required a lot of development time, with consequent very high costs.
This would be the reason why the 190E Cabrio was never produced in series.
Consequently, to this day this version remains a special edition, ideal for collectors looking for rare items produced in limited series.
