The Best Muscle Cars is proud to offer this beautiful 1979
Volkswagen Type 2 panel van a German-market example that was
manufactured on March 5th, 1979 at the Hanover, Germany production
plant. The van reportedly remained with its original owner prior to
being acquired by the seller in Greece approximately six years ago.
A refurbishment was performed prior to the vehicle's importation to
the US in March 2022, and work is said to have included a repaint,
engine overhaul, reupholstered seats, a refresh of the brakes, and
replacement of the clutch and transmission seals. Finished in blue
over gray vinyl upholstery, the van is powered by a 1.6-liter
flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment
includes white-painted bumpers and steel wheels, along with front
disc brakes, a heater, and a fire extinguisher. This Volkswagen
Type 2 is offered with records from 2022, import documents, a
Volkswagen Certificate, and a clean Maryland title in the seller's
name.
