Vehicle Description
There's a lot of uniqueness to this 1971 Dodge D100. It's not just
that we rarely see Mopar pickup from this era anymore, but also
this one has been made to look like a patina part hauler. And as
you dig a little deeper, you'll see the clean lines and new
investments that make this a solid classic cruiser.
The patina paint and matte finish give this the feeling of a barn
find pickup. But the way the panels fit and the front end shines
tells the full story of care and investment. Excellent full-length
trim, classic wheel covers, and plenty of pinstriping are part of
the true cruiser attitude. And of course, we all love the Mopar
performance accessories livery. This one even has the logos of the
best muscle cars of the era. There's so much love for power Mopars
in the graphics that it feels like the only thing missing is a
Grand-Spaulding logo stenciled into the rear bumper. But more than
just look cool, this could still be a genuine parts hauler today
because this truck remains quite useful. The long bed isn't too
fancy to make you think twice about a Home Depot run, and there's
even a proper trailer hitch on the rear. You also have LED
headlights, good weather stripping, clean glass, and new tires for
a good feeling you want on an anytime cruiser.
The interior has a simple pickup attitude with a wide bench sat and
steel door panels. And it's nicely detailed everywhere from the
seatbelts to the working dome light. So while you may choose to add
a modern stereo or a tach to go with the new floor shifter, we
already like how it's presented today. The newer carpeting, newer
headliner, and added USB charging plug show the right commitment to
being comfy while staying quite classic.
Under the hood is a 225 cubic-inch slant-six. These were Mopar's
workhorse backbones, and this torque-filled powerhouse has a long
list of investments. The newer Weber carburetor, timing gear,
timing chain, water pump, fuel pump, and HEI distributor make this
a solid powerhouse. The four-speed manual is a recent upgrade that
gives you firm control thanks to a new clutch, pressure plate, and
a resurfaced flywheel. You also have new shocks, a new master
cylinder, upgraded front disc brakes, and modern Hankook tires.
This Mopar parts hauler has a cool patina style and a proper
cruiser attitude. So it makes for an awesomely distinct truck
offered at a gone-tomorrow price. Call today!!!
