STK 3454 1967 Ford Mustang
This 1967 Mustang is somewhat of a project car, but it has good
bones and is virtually complete. The Mustang has been sitting for a
while, but seems pretty spry. Its exterior appears to have been
repainted at some point, but it is weathered. The body beneath
looks very straight and true and the only rust appears to be at the
base of the driver's door - a spot, not rot. With good basic prep,
this Mustang should be ready for paint. Most of the chrome is in
very satisfactory condition and nice Mustang GT-style wheels mount
14" BFGoodrich radials. The red vinyl interior is in overall good
condition. The seats have been reupholstered, but they appear to be
somewhat sun damaged. Carpeting is also in good condition and
sounds are furnished by an aftermarket JVC AM/FM/Cassette sound
system. Based on the VIN, the Mustang left the factory with a 200ci
six-cylinder engine (T-code). It is now said to be powered by a
289ci/2V Windsor that has never been rebuilt. Power is delivered to
an open differential by a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The
chassis is fitted with manual steering and manual drum brakes. With
some elbow grease, this classic Mustang will return as a 'Boss
