Often the excellent placements of this car were compromised by numerous mechanical failures, which did not allow Alfa Romeo to obtain the desired results. Despite this, the Alfetta had the basis for being able to achieve excellent results, but its career in rallies was prematurely interrupted due to strategies from the top, who did not want to continue their career in rallies.
Francesco Chicco Svizzero was one of the drivers who achieved some of the best results with this car, and he himself stated in various interviews that if this car had continued to race, it would have achieved the success it deserves.
To this day this example remains an extremely rare and sought-after item for any collector looking for a real piece of history.
