Subjected to a frame-off restoration by Revolution Auto out of
Riverton, WY in 2016, this truck took the best parts and pieces
from three trucks. Coming together into a solid body with new paint
and new interior, this truck is a good, average driver!
The original wood factory flatbed with stakesides was replaced with
a professional all steel flatbed. Side mirrors were added to the
truck after correct 1953 brackets were sourced. The frame and body
were re-painted and the seat was re-upholstered. Sitting atop the
front fenders, replacing the round running lights common to the
3600 trucks, are running lights from a 1959 Volkswagon. They are a
perfect fit!
The 235 Engine runs strong, but some clutch work is needed to lose
the "squeal". The truck sports new brakes all around including
wheel cylinders, shoes and drums. Sitting on 16" rims with brand
new tires, the beauty rings provide an excellent finishing touch to
the truck.
A major upgrade/enhancement to this truck is the addition of Air
Conditioning! In addition, a Bluetooth radio provides the sound to
enjoy while cruising for work or pleasure!
