This old girl worked hard her whole life here in Southern California and unfortunately out lived her care taker. Used as a handyman’s work truck since new it was purchased as a bare bones get the job done truck. The engine is a straight 6 that was replaced with a rebuilt unit sometime back and has an upgraded HEI distributor, 5 blade cooling fan and extra capacity radiator. The 3-speed manual gear box now has a floor shifter and the suspension is coil spring front and rear. Brakes are dual reservoir drums on all 4 corners and stop the way they are supposed to. The old original Dark Gold paint shows lots of wear or what some people like to call “patina”. It has it’s bumps and bruises and typical rust in the cab corners and lower fenders even found in California. The floors are solid and the wood bed was recently replaced. The interior is no frills but has a nice new upholstered black vinyl bench seat, new correct rubber flooring durable for getting in dirty, new dash pad, old school AM/FM tape deck, new window and door cranks and custom wood steering wheel. This truck runs and drives great and makes great usable yard art out by the barn or resurrect it with new paint and a V8 if you want!
