For Sale: 1966 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL in Cadillac, Michigan
1966 Mercedes Benz 300 SELang Heckflosse ( fin tail limo) last year
production one of only 1280 ever manufactured. 32000k original
miles, original factory grey/cream paint in almost perfect
condition. Car is equipped with 3.0 liter fuel injected M186 ( same
motor as the gullwing) factory eng. 4 speed automatic. A special
order factory installed heavy duty a/c heater unit located in the
trunk ( super rare). Vents behind the back seat. The 28 piece
factory wood trim was carefully and painstakingly restored and
refinished in burl wood veneer. Protected by 22 layers of super
shiny heat/ sunlight resistant finish. Interior seat although not
original, however refinished in almost correct materials. New
carpets, original headliner, sun visors. Dash switches, knobs radio
look very quite nice. Car starts runs brakes shifts just fine.
Tires are new brakes are good, hub caps have a few scratches but in
great condition. Eng compartment is tidy original and neat. Trunk
is like new. Original spare tire still there. This car was made for
Japan market, look at the plaque under there hood. The factory
books are in Japanese. This car is a rare find in the condition it
is, one of the lowest production stretch limo like Mercedes Benz
Heckflosse, designed for executives and diplomats. Please Note The
