Original, unrestored 1965 Chevrolet C-10, rust-free California pickup. This amazing C-10 Chevy truck, purchased new at Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana California, has spent its entire life in California, and comes with a clean California title and original Build Sheet. With only 74,000 original miles, it runs as good as it looks. During the vast majority of its life, this truck was used to carry a small in-bed camper, and not used as a work truck by its original owner.
The truck retains much of its original paint. The pickup bed is believed to have all of its original paint inside and out. The bed is very straight, as is the tailgate which shows a minor ding on the upper portion. The pickup cab is also rust free...original white paint on roof, original paint on hood and body except for left LOWER door and front fender below trim. Some minor scratching and chips convinced the previous owner to repaint this area many years ago. There is no sign of body work on the inside of the fender. Overall the paint is still very vibrant. The stainless trim is very good, with minor damage to front fender trim. An original GM replacement trim piece, included with the truck, will serve as replacement if desired.
The beautiful finish showing on the original paint, and minor scuffs and scrapes during its life attests to the truck's originality. Undercarriage and floors are clean and rust-free. Wood in the bed is believed to be original, and is in solid condition with one small round hole in one of the wood strips.
At one time sporting a plastic seat cover over the near-mint original seat upholstery, the truck also shows excellent rubber floor mat, door panels, metal roof, and dash. The dash is uncut, featuring the factory original AM radio. All original paint in the cab's interior is in excellent condition.
Original 283 V-8 manual shift, still runs and drives like new, read to go anywhere.
