Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The 1971-1973 Ford Mustangs are
unique in that they are the largest and widest cars in the model's
58 year history. Technically considered the last of the first
generation 'Stangs, these cars were 3 wider to accommodate the
massive 429 big block V8. In addition, the longer wheelbase tends
to provide a more comfortable ride, an important point for us aging
boomers! Lift the sculpted two-tone hood and you'll see the massive
429 V8 that's been fortified with a COMP Cams 270H camshaft, a
Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock RPM AirGap aluminum intake
manifold, a Weiand aluminum water pump, billet distributor, and a
Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and shroud.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc
brakes, beefy C6 automatic transmission with B&M shifter,
tubular subframe connectors, stout 9 rear end, a 1971-1972 chrome
front bumper, dual exhaust with Flowmasters, front spoiler, rear
wing, rear glass louvres, AutoMeter Phantom gauges, and American
Racing alloy wheels wearing 235/60R15 shoes. This beast runs and
drives well, with the deep rumble from the exhaust signaling
trouble for stoplight challengers. The combination of the wing,
louvres, spoiler, and black paint with silver ghost stripe give
this car an impressive, if slightly sinister, appearance. If this
black stallion belongs in your stable, call the team that can make
your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
