This car came out of Monterey, CA. It was owned by a gentleman who lived in Beverly Hills but had a second home in Carmel Valley. He had become quite old and sold it to a family friend who was a porsche collector. It was meticulously restored a few years prior to perfection. This vehicle may be one of the nicest 356's around. The quality and craftsmanship that was put into this vehicle is second to none. Unlike most porsches this car was not pieced together. It retains mostly all its original sheet metal. It was kept very original during the restoration. All original matching engine, transmission, chassis numbers, and a very rare color exterior. We have a copy of the original build sheet (Certificate Of Authenticity). This Porsche could very well be taken to a Pebble Beach concours, It is that nice. The exterior is finished in Reihergrau (Heron Grey) with a beautiful black Leather interior. A very rare and a highly sought after color combo. The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless and in great condition. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy. No imperfections in the paint. The ride is smooth and sporty. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. We just conducted a number of services that include; Removing the carburetors, valve covers, rocker arm assemblies, and upper cylinder tin to retorque cylinder heads. Torqued cylinder heads, reinstalled carburetors and rocker arms. Readjusted valves and replaced valve cover gaskets. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. There are no unusual drivetrain or suspension noises. All suspension and steering components are in proper working order. Clutch and brake feel perfect. Only documentions we have is the title and built sheet, no paperwork for the restoration unfortunately. The car has had very few miles on it since the restoration. NO NEED TO TAKE MY WORD.
