Exterior - Grey and Blue Interior On one hand, there are
factory-built, simple, rugged Land Rover Defenders which are just
fine for daily use, or great for offroading. On the other hand, you
have a Land Rover Defender like the one you see here. It's
upgraded, modified, more luxurious, more powerful, and a bit
flashier than the standard Defender. This custom Defender was built
by The LandRovers, a company based in Amsterdam which specializes
exclusively in bespoke Land Rover Defenders. They build amazing
Defenders which feature a plethora of amenities available for those
customers who want to take a Defender to the next level. This
particular Defender was commissioned in 2020, and was called The
Granser. Each build goes through a rigorous process in which the
vehicles are stripped, and built back up to ensure an impressive
final result. The vehicle you see here is a 1992 Land Rover
Defender 110 finished in Satin Blue over a two tone gray and blue
interior, and showing 2,933 miles since the build was complete.
With a bespoke vehicle like this, comes a prime opportunity to pick
a custom paint color. In this case, Satin Blue was used to finish
off the exterior of the vehicle. It's not exactly what you would
expect on a Land Rover, but the finish is gorgeous. Panel fitment
is all dialed in, and accessories like LED lighting (including a
roof mounted light bar), custom grille, vented front fenders, black
diamond plate panels, rear ladder, and custom bumpers are a few
items that set this Defender apart from factory produced vehicles.
18 contemporary Land Rover wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich All
Terrain tires, and finish off the look of the exterior. This
special Land Rover has a number of features inside the cabin that
make it a bit more luxurious than the average Defender. Seating
surfaces are covered in diamond stitched leather, which also
feature blue piping to match the exterior paint. Matching door
panels also feature billet aluminum door pulls, door latches,
window cranks, and door locks. Alcantara headliner, custom gauge
cluster, Morel and Pioneer audio components, air conditioning, USB
ports, and plenty of cupholders are a few other interior amenities.
Under the hood is a 6.2 Liter LS3 engine pulled from a Corvette,
which is mated to a 6L80E automatic transmission. Not only does the
engine sound good, it provides quite a bit more power than the
original straight 6 engine. With an increase in power, it's always
a great idea to upgrade the suspension and driveline components.
The builder of this unique Defender did just that with the
installation of heavy duty driveshafts, new axles, and a new
suspension setup. The underside of the vehicle is extremely clean,
as it should be with just shy of 3k miles since the build was
completed. We're sure that if you chose to, this Defender would do
just fine in a variety of off road conditions. If a rugged, simple
Land Rover Defender isn't posh enough for you, this Defender which
was custom built by The Land Rovers might be a bit more of your
style. A larger, more powerful engine, more luxurious interior, and
a full restoration put this Land Rover in another class. Please
