1966 Ford Mustang-Royal Maroon-White Top
Car History
The Mustang is known as the original Pony Car and is a highly
sought-after collectible in every corner of the world.
We have a great restoration of a Royal maroon 1966 Ford Mustang
with a white top with the correct C-Code 289 cubic inch engine and
a much sought after 4-speed transmission, as well as an astonishing
Royal maroon/white interior, and factory styled wheels with white
sidewall tires.
Mechanical
Our Mustang came with the optional C-Code 289 cubic inch V8 engine
that was rated at 200 horsepower from the factory, but this car has
more going for it with the performance carburetor, aluminum intake,
chrome valve covers and open air cleaner element, with the Ford
Racing blue painted block and heads, performance spark plug wires,
power steering, factory cast iron exhaust headers running through a
dual exhaust system, and it is backed by a smooth shifting 4-speed
transmission that sends the power out back to the Ford rear
end.
This engine sits in the clean, painted, and detailed engine
compartment and with what looks to be like-new hoses, and
belts.
Interior
The restored interior is in incredible shape and has bucket seats
with the 4-speed shifter on the floor. The seats are maroon vinyl
with white inserts to make It really pop.
The dash and door panels are matching in Royal maroon with a three
spoke wood steering wheel that brings a rich feel inside and
matched to woodgrain on the dash and glove box door.
The interior looks new with the matching rear seat, including the
other interior trim in maroon including the dash, door panels, seat
belts, carpet, factory gauges, as well as the upgraded Pioneer
stereo radio system.
Exterior
This car will stop traffic and drop jaws with its Royal maroon
paint highlighted by the white top. The body fitment and lines make
it very stylish and even better looking than it was when it left
the factory.
The white sidewall Steel Belted Radial tires on the factory
chrome/polished factory styled mag wheels look very period correct
and nice for this first-generation Mustang with the rear valance
which allows the exhaust to exit through it.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a bright Royal Maroon with a White top
