The exterior of this 442 is completely stunning. Finished in the
beautiful Trophy Blue base/Clear Coat paint, that shines bright!
All stainless trim has been polished and is presented beautifully!
The front and rear Chrome bumpers were refinished to very high
standards and have a mirror-like shine! All windows present
beautifully and are very clean. Four T-3 headlights make sure the
road ahead can be seen! Sitting on SS-1 Wheels and GOODYEAR
PolyGlas - G70-14 Bias Ply Tires with a matching spare in the
trunk.
Open up the door and you will be presented by a very clean and
detailed Parchment colored interior. The interior was restored and
shows very nicely. The front seats are plush and extremely
comfortable. Shifted by the correct "442" Hurst floor shifter.
Stainless and chrome trim are highly polished and shine bright! The
dash is extremely clean and detailed. All gauges are crisp and
clear. The AM/FM radio functions properly along with the power
antenna and sounds great!
The beauty doesn't stop there, open up the hood and you will be
greeted by a clean and detailed engine bay. The bright red inner
fenders will quickly catch your attention.
The Numbers matching Ram Rod 400 (39M323082) has been fully rebuilt
and greatly detailed. Retains the w-30 correct, D-code Heads, and
Rochester quadrajet (#7029254UB). The Cold air ducts force denser
air into the sealed breather helping this 400 achieve its 360HP and
440 FT LBs of torque! All of the power goes to the rear wheels
through the original numbers matching 4-speed transmission and TO
code(3.91 ratio limited slip) rear end.
The underneath of this w-30 is outstanding. The original floor pans
show beautifully and solid. The Frame was removed and
professionally restored and looks fantastic. Many new parts were
added such as brake and fuel lines, a gas tank, a stainless steel
exhaust, coil springs, shocks and bushings. Paint marking and
stickers have been put on to original specifications.
Mechanically, this 442 is very strong. The rebuilt Ram Rod 400 runs
great. The longer duration cam that comes with the w-30 package
sounds like thunder through the trumpet style exhaust tips. This
442 produces impressive power that is sure to give you great
excitement. The 4-speed transmission shifts like butter. Each shift
is precise and sturdy. The suspension rides smooth while giving
great handling characteristics. No matter if you love looks or
