Vehicle Description
This Fourth Generation 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau packs some
subtle upgrades throughout and a not-so-subtle punch under the
hood, and it's now available from the MaxMotive Pittsburgh
Showroom. Newly optional for 1966 was the 428 cubic inch FE big
block V8 engine. With a big four-barrel carb on top it could
generate a muscle-car-like 345 horsepower. It was paired with the
legendary C6 automatic transmission for a truly muscular power
team. The Landau edition features a formal vinyl roof with elegant
Landau bars, along with enhanced woodgrain interior trim. The
distinctive Thunderbird cabin features a full-length center
console, wrap-around rear seat, and an Overhead Safety Control
Panel with warning light array. And of course, it displays the
trademark Thunderbird sequential turn signals. The car was
repainted in a stylish shade of Dark Gray Metallic and fitted with
LED headlights and Ridler aluminum wheels. It rides on
staggered-sized 225/50R17 ultra-performance tires in front with
245/50R17s tucked underneath the fender skirts in the back. Here's
your chance to own a classic personal luxury coupe with the heart
of a muscle car, this 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau is ready
for take off. See detailed photos at www.maxmotive.com. **********
