Mechanical
Chevrolet was smart enough to put a V8 engine in these cars which
gave them a good power-to-weight ratio and they were a fast little
muscle car.
The 1967 Chevrolet II here is a perfect example with the 350 cubic
inch small bock Chevy engine and performance updates like the
aluminum intake and performance carb, tube headers, factory orange
paint on the block and heads, chrome aluminum valve covers with the
matching open-element air cleaner assembly, power steering and
brakes, and all sitting in a clean and detailed engine
compartment.
The 350 engine is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and a
10-bolt rear end, dual exhaust system with turbo type mufflers, all
riding on Cragar wheels and raised white letter BFG tires.
Interior
Our Duece has a really nice looking black interior with split-bench
seat up front and rea seat, with a black dash, factory gauges plus
accessory performance gauges and tach, aftermarket radio system,
black three spoke steering wheel, matching door panels, black
carpeting and floor mats, and a chrome automatic shifter.
Exterior
The 1967 gets a sweet looking red paint scheme that looks great
with its grille, 327 crossed-flag emblems, great chrome bumpers
front and rear, and trim.
The body panels and fitment are good and it has that look of a
sleeper muscle car, it sounds great, and runs as great as it
looks.
Conclusion
The 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova that we have here at Skyway
Classics is a very original example of those pocket-rockets of
1967. It is very fast due to its engine size and very light weight
and looks better than it did when it was brand new.
