Motors is excited to offer for sale this 1965 GMC C10 Stepside
Pick-up Truck. This truck was a treated to a resto-mod restoration
about 3000 miles ago and while it is starting to showing some light
wear and tear here and there the restoration has held up well. The
subtle modifications not only add some tasteful refinements to the
already classic styling of the mid-60's Chevrolet C-10 and the
mechanical upgrades significantly improve the performance and
handling of this gorgeous pick-up. This body was repainted with a
burgundy metallic paint job, this truck has been driven so there
are few minor chips and swirl scratches in the paint however it
really displays well with a nice shine. The finish features a
custom pinstripe that accents the body lines, and the custom rear
fender gas cap door subtly hints of the relocated gas tank from
inside the cab to under the bed. The chrome bumpers and related
stainless trim has been replaced with new or re-chromed items and
all the lighting lens and bezels are new as well. During the
restoration process all new window rubber gaskets and weatherstrips
were installed. The bed floor had new wood installed with polished
stainless strips and the bed features a Brothers snapping tonneau
cover. Inside the interior features custom carpeted flooring with
insulation/sound deadener, including the kick panels, firewall and
rear cab wall. The stock seat has been reupholstered using a cream
and oxblood vinyl insert that sets the tone artfully for the
vintage vibe of this interior. A Grant wood rimmed vintage wheel
sits atop an Ididt tilt steering column with billet column shifter.
The engine vitals are monitored by a set of Shark gauges mounted in
a custom aluminum dash milled with an engine turned adornment. The
windows have been upgraded to a custom power kit and a Pioneer
Super Tuner AM/FM CD player with AUX input has been mounted under
the dashboard and fills the cabin with your favorite tunes through
a set of Boston Acoustic Speakers. The entire truck has had the
wiring system upgraded with a new Painless wiring kit. Under the
hood is clean and well detailed and ready to hit the car local show
circuit! The Chevrolet small block V8 has been bored and stroked to
383cid and is painted to match the body color. This high
performance set up is topped with an Edelbrock Performer carburetor
with electric choke and aluminum intake that flows into a set of
vintage Chevrolet Camel back high performance heads. The fuel
mixture is lit up by a MSD electronic ignition system with an Accel
Super coil and a set of 8mm spark plug wires. The burned combustion
mixture is expelled through a set Hedman FloTech Headers into a
dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. A little show is added to
this go package by a chrome open element K&N air cleaner, and
other chrome accoutrements including valve covers, timing cover,
coolant hose covers, overflow tank and water pump. This hot set up
remains cool thanks to a Harrison copper/brass four radiator with
fan shroud and heavy-duty cooling fan. Underneath the truck frame
was completely rebuilt using a CPP lowering kit, with new gas
shocks and front lowering springs (1' drop) 2 drop front spindles
and power front disc brake kit with dual master cylinder. The fuel
and brake lines have all been replaced as well. The front
suspension and steering components are new including a new power
steering gearbox which has been installed. Power is transferred
through a GM Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic that has been
upgraded with a B&M Shifter kit to tighten up the shifts. This
combination rolls on a set of chrome 20 6 spoke alloy wheels
wrapped in Nitto low profile directional tires. This truck really
checks all the boxes for a great truck, the color combination is
right on and
