Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is super excited to be
able to offer this high-end, Murpho's Rods & Customs built, 1972
Chevrolet Corvette. Murpho's has earned the reputation for building
some of the world's finest hot-rods & customs, and this happens to
be one of them! This creation started off in 2016 with a 1972
Corvette that was completely disassembled down to the glass body
and chassis, and then reassembled using only the highest quality
parts. In fact, there is a letter of assembly from the man himself,
Ed Murphy, stating that the total labor on this build was right at
1,700 man hours and included another $108k in parts alone, not even
including the cost of the original '72 Vette, letting you know that
this is a no-cost's spared kind of build. The final result of this
creation is an absolutely stunning Bryar blue hard top/soft top
complete with the blue interior and a hard charging LS3 under the
hood that has color matched components and whole lot of polished
aluminum & chrome! It was performance dyno tuned by Flaco's
Performance out of Pasadena, TX. & is putting down 444 HP to the
tire. There is so much that went into the build on this that it
makes it really difficult for us to list all, so we are letting the
vehicle itself do the talking. Tremec 6-Speed Manual Transmission,
Bluetooth Radio, Dakota digital gauges, Michelin Pilot Super
Sports, ice cold A/C, 14" Wilwood Disc Brakes on all 4 corners,
Adjustable Coil Overs on all 4 corners, electric headlight motors
and all the bells and whistles make this 1972 one of the finest
steel bumper Vette's you will ever see.
