This 1981 Chevy Suburban K-20 Scottsdale is a really cool 3/4 Ton
Suburban that spent its life in Arizona so it is rust free and
extra clean. The last owner of this rig went through it and built
it to be a reliable Desert Cruising truck but never really got to
use it in that way. Circumstances led him to sell it and we were
able to purchase it. Great running and driving and very cool Burb!!
The body on this truck is super clean and straight. The paint is
mostly original and still looks great! The lower rear quarters were
touched up and he had the lowers down both sides rock chipped and
painted to keep any more paint from chipping off. We found no rust
issues and no rust on the Suburban. The underside is as clean as
they come with only some very minor surface rust on the bare metal
parts.
The interior is also really nice and appears to have been redone at
some point. All 3 rows of bench seats have been reupholstered and
are excellent! It also has newer carpet, newer door panels, newer
headliner, and newer dash. It is just really nice. The headlights,
taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work and the wipers, heat ,and AC work. The horn is not
working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!! It runs and drives great!!
The engine is the 5.7L 350 V8 that runs strong and smooth with no
issues or red flags that we could find. The last owner had the
engine rebuilt and although we did not receive receipts it is clear
that it is based on the visual and new parts like water pump,
distributor, fuel pump, full tune-up, remanufactured Quadrajet
carb, and dual exhaust. It really does run excellent!! The
transmission is the Turbo 400 Automatic that shifts nice and it is
mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It
has the Corporate 14 Bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and it does have
the Limited Slip. The front axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with 4.10
gears. This is all sitting on new steel wheels with newer Dick
cepek Trail Country EXP tires size 285/75/16. What a cool rig that
you can drive daily or just use as a weekend rig or bug-out
vehicle. So many options.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate

you everything so you can get a true representation of the
