About this car:
Powered by Pontiac's Straight 8, 268.4 Cubic Inch engine and a Hydro-Matic, this beauty is driven a few days every week, mostly to and from the nearby dog park. There are lots of records to review the history, including the original Owner Service Policy dated June 8, 1953, from Ryman Pontiac in Dalton, Georgia. Very recent work includes brake cylinder rebuilds and carburetor rebuild. Also, the 6 volt system was upgraded to 12 volt. Just added new windshield wipers. It gets about 15 +/- miles to the gallon of regular gas.
Tires are in good shape although the white walls have a bit of curb shred.

Odometer reads 47895. I suspect it may not be accurate.
In the last 6 years, all engine, radiator, and safety-related work was done by British European Motors and ASAP Automotive, both located here in Fremont, CA.
Exterior paint, some chrome, and the interior bench seats need refreshed but the interior door panels and headliner are in very good shape.
Also included are the original Pontiac Owner's Guide, and a DVD of 1953 Pontiac Sales and Marketing films.
Fun to drive. It has been in the Niles Holiday Lights Parade a few times. See video.
