The Ford Customline in a mid-level model in Fords line-up beginning in 1952. Ford was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1953 and riding pretty high. Our 1953 Ford Customline 2 door sedan is a true southern belle with just 87,000 actual original miles. This beautiful car was treated to a cosmetic restoration within the last few years and still looks great. A complete repaint in the factory colors of Glenmist Green with a Shannon Green painted Roof and a green cloth interior. options would include the very hard to find 239 cubic inch Flat head V8 motor and a 3-Speed column shift manual transmission. Other options would be Electric Clock, AM Radio, Heater, Full Wheel Covers, Wide Whitewall Tires and cloth seating surfaces. Additional accessories are rear fender skirts and windshield visor. All chrome and trim look amazing. The interior appears to be completely original with a new carpet set installed sometime along the way. I don't think we ever had a early car that starts right up and drives so effortlessly as this one, it's actually a pleasure to drive. Rolling on Coker Wide White Radial Tires for a smooth, soft ride. Also a dual master cylinder has been added for better stopping ability. This good old Ford is a pleasure to drive and is ready for the upcoming cruising season.
