Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The compact Mercury Comet and its
Ford Falcon cousin were developed together for the 1960 model year
to offer an American alternative to the growing number foreign
imports. Produced in fewer numbers than the Falcon, the Comet still
enjoys a loyal following. This particular model, however, should be
called Halley's Comet because you'll only see another in about 76
years! That's right, this awesome little wagon is one of only 1592
1965 Mercury Villagers produced, resulting in very few survivors.
Remove the 4-pin fiberglass and functional Caliente hood and you'll
find Ford's legendary 289 V8 that's sporting a Demon 4bbl
carburetor, an Edelbrock F4B aluminum intake manifold, an aluminum
radiator, an Accel coil, and an Edelbrock aluminum water pump.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes
with drilled and slotted rotors, C4 automatic transmission with
B&M shifter (6), 3.00 rear axle (1), correct Medium Blue
Metallic paint (Y), correct Medium and Light Blue Metallic vinyl
trim (22), export brace, Monte Carlo bar, dual exhaust with H-pipe,
AM/FM/CD stereo, Auto Meter gauges, and Cooper tires (195/60R15 F,
205/60R15 R) mounted on American Racing alloy wheels. This is a
charming little cruiser that you're not likely to see again. One
more cool rarity from the team that can make your dream a reality.
