For Sale: 1972 Oldsmobile 442 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Vehicle Description

This 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power disc brakes, factory air conditioning, an AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, an OAI (Outside Air Induction) hood, and chrome Foose wheels. Finished in Deep Blue with white stripes and equipped with a power-operated white convertible top over a white leather interior, this Cutlass Supreme is available now and comes with owner's booklets and a clear Florida title in the seller's name.

The exterior is finished in Deep Blue. Features include chrome bumpers, white 442 side stripes, an OAI hood with twist-lock hood pins and white accents, dual mirrors, a power white convertible top with a glass rear window, a rear body accent stripe, and 442 emblems.

A set of 17-inch chrome Foose wheels is wrapped in Goodyear front and Hankook Ventus rear radial tires.

The front bucket seats, rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered in white leather. Features include manual windows, woodgrain accents, an AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, factory air conditioning, a black center console with a storage compartment, a manual remote driver-side mirror, power steering, and power brakes. The seller states that a new wood steering wheel and new trunk carpeting have been installed. The driver-side mirror adjustment knob is missing and the original radio and the clock are inoperative.

A 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the brakes, generator, oil, and temperature are located in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. With 400 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 12,011 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

Power is provided by a 350ci V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include gold valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and an MSD ignition. The seller states that the following new parts have been installed:

  • Battery
  • Belts
  • Hoses
  • Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor

This Cutlass Supreme was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits under the rear bumper through chrome trumpet outlets.
