This 1948 Chrysler Windsor limousine was cosmetically and mechanically restored and repainted in its reportedly original color under previous ownership in 1987. It draws power from a 250.6ci inline-six and sends it to the road through a semi-automatic transmission. Features include chrome bumpers, vent windows, a heater, and three-row seating. New rear springs and whitewall radial tires were recently installed. The cabin is furnished with three rows of maroon cloth seating that includes a fold-up second-row seat, tan broadcloth door panels, brown carpeting, and ribbed metallic trim. The transmission works fine - it is a large heavy car with the six cylinder engine so it is not a fast car. It will cruise all day long at 55 to 60. The engine does not smoke. The brakes are fine, no issues evident. The radiator and fuel systems work well - no problems that I am aware of The car is driven To Church on occasion, to local antique car events on occasion or short drives in the country on occasion. I don't think it has been in the rain or on a wet street in 30 or 40 years.
