Vehicle Description
The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda has one the most fearsome styles of the
muscle car era. So when you have a restomod with a 6.1-liter
supercharged Hemi V8, custom A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes,
and awesomely bold paint, you know the top dog has arrived.
This coupe loves to announce it's something special. The bold
orange paint has a radiant style, and we especially like how it
makes for a distinct contrast to the full dark side accent package.
The blackout hood, dark grille, black bumpers, deeply tinted
windows, blackout rear panel, dark trim, black alloys, and painted
side stripes show a thoughtful way to look quite mean. And when it
comes to attitude, nothing announces a muscle Mopar better than a
shaker hood with callouts. There are terrific little details that
make all the difference. It's in the way the Hemi is outlined in
the fender stripes for added definition, the LED headlights make
for a bright glow from the dark grille, and the wheels are
staggered in size 18/20 inches front/rear so that you have a meaner
stance. But as you look over the whole coupe, you not only get a
sense of power, but also there's a feeling of quality that comes
from taking the time to make sure this has the kind of crisp style
that makes it look clean and confident everywhere it's parked.
The interior does a terrific job of being a proper restomod where
you have plenty of classic style while also getting the right
modern upgrades. For example, the door panels, dash, and carpeting
have a stock but fresh style. The seats have been updated for added
comfort with plenty of added bolstering. But the low-back style and
custom 'Cuda stitching make them fit into the overall style quite
nicely. This coupe is loaded with cold-blowing Vintage Air air
conditioning, power front windows, power locks, power steering, and
a touchscreen infotainment system that runs the Bluetooth CarPlay,
and a full stereo with subwoofers in the custom trunk box. This is
set up to be a proper driver's machine. That means classic features
like a vintage sports steering wheel and stock round gauge panel.
These are joined by worthwhile upgrades like the B&M shifter in
the custom center console and a full Dakota Digital gauge pack.
The tucked wires, tidy components, and clean inner walls of the
engine bay are all part of making sure the powerhouse takes center
stage. This earns its restomod status with a 6.1-liter
fuel-injected Hemi V8 under the hood. But what really makes this
awesome is the Kenne Bell 2.8-liter Mammoth supercharger placed on
top. It means this classic Barracuda is more like a modern Hellcat.
An awesome powerhouse like this is backed by good components like a
Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, upgraded
pulleys, a Milodon oil pan, and the battery moved to the trunk for
better weight distribution. It fires up with a terrific tune as
long tube headers feed into the dual exhaust and Dynomax mufflers.
And because even the sound is a bit of a cool mix of muscle car and
modern machine, you'll be pleased with the full setup. You have
traditionally stout components like a Torqueflite A727 three-speed
automatic transmission and a 9-inch rear end. These are joined by
modern features like a tubular steel front subframe and Wilwood
four-wheel disc brakes.
This is iconic Mopar style that has been upgraded to fulfill your
wildest dreams. That's why this supercharged restomod deserves to
be in your garage. Call today!!!
