The truck is virtually untouched from their build of it 35 years ago. The build started out with a low-mileage factory short-bed 2-wheel-drive C10. The interior received a leather-wrapped full roll cage, Mastercraft race seats with '70s-era plaid inserts, matching plaid inserts in the door panels, a GM sport steering wheel and Simpson racing belts. The exterior is equipped with a Hickey Off-Road drop-down fiberglass hood, Pre-Runner front push bar with KC Day Lighters, bed-mount spare tire carrier and a custom off-road rear bumper. The truck rolls on vintage Enkei gold anodized wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain T/As with a date code of 2022. The suspension retains the original Rough Country dual racing shocks up front and Mickey Thompson rear shocks. It is also equipped with front and rear axle truss kits and a Rough country high-capacity rear differential cover. It is powered by a GM LT1 crate engine loaded with roller rockers, high-lift cam, gear drive and Hooker headers with a custom-made stainless exhaust system, updated Bowtie cylinder heads and performance Edelbrock carburetors. The body retains its factory code 46 Holly Green color on Arizona desert sheet metal. Hand-laid custom pinstriping. With a huge folder of original GM documentation and receipts for what was done to it over the years. Sold new at Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ. Custom ordered in Holly green.
