For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet El Camino in San Diego, California

Vehicle Description

1967 Chevrolet El Camino Malibu, professionally built. Marina blue exterior, black interior. Nut and bolt restoration. I am the second owner; bought from a private collection. Provenance includes receipts,  restoration folders, installation instruction manuals on many of the new build components. A few of the highlights - original 327 CI V8 built by PCH Racing Engines. MSD Atomic EFI and ignition. clutch and gas tank are also an Atomic EFI matched set with electric fuel pump. Griffin radiator, dual electric fans and billet specialties radiator catch tank. Gear reduction starter with dyno sheet. Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake. Comp Cam, block bored and balanced 40 over Jahns Pistons, Eagle rods, stainless crank. The top half roller rockers. Hooker 3 inch long tube headers, 3 chamber 40 series Flowmasters. Hooker 3 inch polished remote cutouts. Polyurethane engine mounts, 150 A chrome Powermaster alternator. Billet specialties wire loom guides, radiator show plate and hood latch. Tremec 5 speed gearbox with custom crossmember, balanced drive shaft, oversized bell housing. Powder coated Moser rear axle, 355 gears. Front and back level 3QA1 suspension. Dual adjustable coilovers front and back. Poly bushings, sway bars, adjustable links, ball joints, and tubular control arms. Flaming River rack and pinion power steering, with satin Flaming River tilt steering column and XRS tie rod ends. Billet Specialties steering wheel. The Marina blue has a faint 2 line pinstripe. The paint work was detailed to an extreme high level. Front and rear bumpers are new, show chrome. Front turn signal lights, rear tail lights, backup lights are new with new wiring harnesses. The rear tail light bezels are new. The front grill has been highly polished out. Exterior door handles, mirrors, windshield wipers are new, show quality chrome. All of the stainless was sent out and highly polished. Front and rear license plates are billet specialties. The interior bed is flawless; no dings, dents or scratches. The interior bucket seats with factory headrests new factory black upholstery, as well as factory black new door panels. All of the bucket seat trim is new. Interior door handles, window cranks, armrests, wind wings, sun visor and hardware all new. The dash bezels are new. Retro 67 radio new. Billet specialty door sills and interior rear view mirror. New headliner, dash pad cover original but in pristine condition. Bosch tac as well as original dash tac. I have the original Hurst shifter,  currently have a Muncie shift linkage. Original reconditioned console, clock does not work. Dash knobs, cigarette lighter new. All of the original black dash paint was color sanded and highly polished. New kick panels with speakers. This was a four year build that was finished 8 months ago. 968 miles since complete. Wilwood disk brakes, slotted polished rotors front and rear. Rambler mags two piece show chrome. Rear tires 275/50/17, front are 235/50 17. The mags are staggered 7 inch up front and 9 inch in the rear. I have many of the old parts that were replaced and many extra parts. Serious buyers only. $53,000.00. . This car is located at my home in San Diego CA. It has never been driven in rain or through a puddle of water. Zero rust; the underside is completely undercoated. All receipts, binders, photos etc. go with the purchase. This El Camino was not built to race - it was built for long term durability and stability.
