This 1992 BMW 325i convertible is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 14″ basket-weave wheels, heated front sport seats (leather), a new blue soft top, fog lights, an AM/FM/CD cassette stereo, and air conditioning.
Sold new at BMW of San Diego and lived in CA until the first owner passed the car on to his Son in Florida. We acquired the car from the son of the first owner in 2020 in Florida.
We completed a full exterior repaint of the car in spring of 2021 to correct the sun-faded clearcoat and some hail damage on the hood & trunk. Current exterior finish is excellent. Major service performed in 2018 included rebuilding the cylinder head as well as replacing the radiator, head gasket, timing belt, and water pump.

Extensive records are included in a binder showing years of maintenance and parts purchases. Radio, CD Changer, Heat, A/C, power windows and heated seats all work well with no issues. The power top does require a little fiddling on the way down as shown in the video, but it does work quite well. Anyone with E30 power top experience knows they were not a great design. The on-board diagnostic center works properly and the original tool kit is in near perfect condition. A fitted car cover is included with the sale.
