Vehicle Description
STK 3419 1951 Chevrolet 3100
By today's standards, this pick-up would be considered a
'step-side' - a Silverado from another time. From the solid Birch
wood bed to the distinctive Evergreen finish, this fully restored
pick-up is an eye-catcher. The professional respray was applied in
2019. Chrome REV alloy wheels (18x8) mount Kumho performance
radials and all chrome is excellent. The result is impressive. The
handsome interior is very well thought out. A plush bench seat is
upholstered with Beige hi-grade vinyl and tilts forward allowing
easy access to the storage area behind. The refinished dash houses
Classic Instrument analogue gauges and an AM/FM/Cassette sound
system w/remote is located behind the seat. A custom Vintage/ICT
Billet air conditioning system has been installed and a floor
mounted Lokar shifter is center stage. The Ididit tilt column
mounts a custom spoke wheel and 'air-horns' have been added just
for fun. All window glass is tinted and in excellent condition.
The spotless engine compartment is home to a fully dressed 5.3L
Chevy L33 powerplant. The low-mileage aluminum LS Silverado motor
was refreshed to stock specs in 2004. It was factory equipped with
aluminum heads, fuel injection, hydraulic roller cam and serpentine
belt system. Cooling requirements are handled by an HD aluminum
radiator w/electric fans and exhaust passes through stainless
headers to a free flowing stainless system (w/cutouts). The L33 is
backed by a GM TH350 automatic transmission w/stock torque
convertor that provides power to the differential with 3.31:1
street gearing. This entire drivetrain is very correct. A clean
chassis is fitted with power steering, power disc/drum brakes
w/dual master cylinder. Front suspension is coil springs w/sway bar
and leaf springs are incorporated in the rear. This carefully built
Chevy 3100 will not be in our inventory long - it belongs in your
BowTie garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
