They started with a real solid Coronet and restored it as a Super
Bee. I think it's a sharp looker: the colors, wheels, scoops, and
spoiler really make it.
EXTERIOR: I think it has a great body. Laser beam straight, gaps
are square. No rust, damage or issues. It has the hood scoops and
rear spoiler. The dark green poly has a smooth glossy finish. You
would have to look hard to find a flaw. It has new Bumble Bee
stripe in back. Very nice original front bumpers and grill. Rear
bumper was rechromed, tail panel is excellent.
INTERIOR: Overall very good. Excellent dash pad, instrument panel
is not broken. It does a modern stereo. Door panels look new.
Carpet and embroidered mats look great. Bucket seats have plump
cushions, upholstery has been replaced front and back. Headliner
and visors are excellent, dome light works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong running 383 big block. Edelbrock intake
with a Holley carb. Mopar aluminum valve covers, restored air
cleaner. It features power steering. The battery is bolted down
properly and has a disconnect switch. The engine bay is solid
metal. Vin on the core support matches, original fender tag is
attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb has some flaking
paint. New trunk floor painted gloss green. New mat and
weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Under the car appears to have rock solid original metal.
The floors, frame rails and rockers all look solid. Looking up at
the motor it is very clean, it has a high torque starter. It has a
727 Torqueflite automatic. Custom drive shaft leads to the 8 3/4
rear end. Dual exhaust has Flowmaster mufflers and the correct
square tips. Fuel tank has been replaced. It has air shocks in
back.
Turn key ready to drive. It looks and sounds great!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
