One of the most iconic rally cars of today's date. The Subaru
Impreza STI has been well known for its performance, power,
handling, and unique abilities. It's one of the most popular cars
on the roads, track, and raceways. This particular example has
25,100 original miles and less than 1,000 miles on a brand-new OEM
Engine! It has over $10k in receipts for the engine build alone. It
has been very well kept! This is a collector's dream! You cannot
find them with this low of mileage. Recently Subaru announced they
will no longer be producing STI's. That makes this car all that
more collectable. This is your chance to purchase an STI for a
bargain before they climb in price.
EXTERIOR: The GD body "Hawkeye" STI is the most sought after STI on
the market. Finished in obsidian black pearl, this glossy paint has
some nice metallic pearls in it. Overall, the car is in excellent
condition. There are some small blemishes like a few random stone
chips on the hood, a small crack, and some light scratches on the
driver fender. The rear bumper has a small paint scratch. Even with
those small imperfections this car shines up like it did new! The
STI model includes HID leveling headlights, dual plane rear
spoiler, STI aero ground effects, and forged BBS silver wheels.
Behind the silver aluminum wheels are nice gold flake painted
Brembo performance brakes.
INTERIOR: The interior is near mint! Its iconic blue and black two
tone lets others know you're driving the upgraded STI over the base
WRX model. The STI seats are in excellent shape front and rear with
no wear or tear. The blue carpet is still in excellent shape as
well as the blue STI floor mats. The 6 speed shifter was upgraded
to a short throw shifter from the factory. The driver controlled
center differential switch is located next to the shifter allowing
you to change your ratio on the go! There are carbon fiber overlays
on all of the trim adding to the spiciness of the interior! Also
included are some nice fitting weathertech all season floor
mats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This engine compartment is spotless! Everything
is in excellent shape, no dirt or grime like you would normally see
in these. Under the hood you'll find the turbocharged 2.5L 4
cylinder engine pushing 300 HP and 300 lb ft of torque! Being in
such a light car with the all wheel drive system, the power makes
it feel like a rocket. This car is 100% stock including the stock
exhaust! It's rare to find them in this condition.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pop the trunk and the carpet looks nice and new;
the hidden compartment on the right has the jack and tools that
have never been used. On the right hand side is the intercooler
sprayer container. You can fill it with distilled water and spray
it on the intercooler to keep the temps cool in the engine bay on a
hot day of driving! Under the mat is the original spare tire.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is in excellent shape, the STI model comes
with beefier STI inverted shocks and springs, adjustable lateral
and control arms in the rear. There's still factory stickers and
markings in place. There's also the OEM downpipe, and cat back
exhaust.
