For Sale: 1932 Chevrolet Confederate in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

AACA National 1st prize winner in 2006. Very cute and fun rumble seat cabriolet. I promise whoever you put in the rumble seat will be smiling!

EXTERIOR: Very desirable cabriolet which means the top goes down and it has roll up windows. It's a deluxe which includes chrome hood louvers and cowl lights. All steel body and fenders. The body, fenders and splash aprons are all straight and fit nice. There is some bubbling on the bottom edge of the doors. It's a 3 tone paint job with a smooth, glossy finish. The chrome on the car sparkles. Decked out with dual horns, chrome windshield frame, dual headlight bars, landau bars and a hood ornament. It has a Chevy bow tie taillight. The convertible top is tan Haartz cloth in good shape. It has a few stains. The rubber ribbed running boards has optional aluminum step plates. It also has aluminum steps to get in the rumble seat. The 5 wire wheels have been painted, the center caps and trim rings have been replaced. It also has a matching set of 5 whitewalls.

INTERIOR: Original rubber mat. Seat and door panels are all correctly upholstered. Knobs, gauges and instrument panel are in good shape. The steering wheel is not cracked. It has a newer temperature gauge below the dash. They've also added seatbelts.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt 6 cylinder motor. It looks proper and complete right down to the Chevrolet oil can. The fuel pump and carb look fresh. It has reproduction hoses and clamps. Neatly painted.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's actually a rumble seat. It is completely upholstered to match the interior. There are 2 boxes of extra parts, touch up paint and a real nice soft car cover is included.

UNDERSIDE: It is very respectable and solid. It is representative of an older body off frame restoration. It was disassembled and restored. The three speed transmission was rebuilt 5 years ago.

I consider this a piece of mechanical art. Beautiful shape adorned in chrome accessories and tri color paint. How's a ride in a rumble seat sound?
