Continental designed by Ford design Vice President Elwood Engel.
The only engine available was the 430 cu in (7.0 L) V8 carried over
from the Mark V. It was bored and stroked to 462 cubic inches in
1966 & 1967's, becoming the largest-displacement engine ever used
in a Ford Motor Company passenger car. 462.0 cu in.
