1972 was the last year the corvette had front and rear chrome bumpers. It was also the last year for the removable rear window, metal side vents, and the vacuum controlled wiper door. GM produced 2,478 Mille Miglia Red corvettes and 3,912 with the LS5/454 big block out of 27,004 total production.
