Venom Classics is excited to present this genuine 1978 DKM Macho Trans Am, #66 of 203 produced.
This is one of the rarest Trans Am's ever produced. In 1978, GM produced 93,341 Trans Ams. Only 203 were converted into Macho T/A's. This particular Macho lived in Arizona, and we were honored to bring her back to her full glory.
Along with a full repaint and correct DKM Macho decals, we added the beautiful red accent pinstripe to separate the silver and black paint, and highlight the red in the bird on the hood. The L78 400 4bbl engine, and the Borg Warner Super-T10 4-speed transmission have been completely gone through. (Mileage cannot be ascertained)
She has new under-hood wiring, new 17" Snowflake rims riding on Nitto G2's, new carpet, and new seat upholstery custom-made with the period correct black velour. We added a new windshield, new exhaust, LED lights, a Retrosound stereo, and JL speakers.
The steering and suspension have been completely rebuilt, with all components having been sandblasted and power coated. AC works with a proper conversion to R134A.
This particular Macho TA also came with the extremely rare fiberglass hood. We installed a new metal hood on this car, but the fiberglass hood is also included.
We also have the original owner's manual, build sheet, Mecham authentication paperwork, and some great Macho paraphernalia for you.
