Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics would like to present this very cool 1940
Chevrolet Master 85 Business coupe street rod. Power is provided by
a mid-90s LT1 engine backed by a 4L60E automatic overdrive
transmission, this combination not only provides plenty of
horsepower but is also very freeway friendly. The interior is
nicely equipped with power windows, a power driver's seat, tilt
steering wheel, VDO gauges, a nice Jensen sound system, and
cold-blowing air-conditioning. The undercarriage is found to be
overall solid with good floor pans and frame rails with a mid-70s
GM A-body front sub-frame. While all of the structural components
are in good condition with no repairs needed there is some sheet
metal rust under the rockers and running boards. Unless this car is
driven in bad weather we believe there will be no undercarriage
issues for many years. The body, front fenders, and running boards
are all steel with fiberglass rear fenders. The car is finished in
dark navy blue and from 10 feet away is absolutely stunning but
upon closer inspection, you will find some imperfections leading us
to label the finish driver quality. The car sits on
body-color-matched steel wheels with chrome center caps wrapped
with American classic wide whites tires. This classic is a great
driver and sure to be a hit at any car show at a price point that
won't break the bank, you couldn't begin to build this car for our
asking price!
