This 1956 Ford F-100 was restored to have plenty of hot rod flair.
You see it everywhere, from the hand-lid pinstripes to the triple
deuce V8. But you'll also notice the overdrive transmission, comfy
A/C interior, and all the other upgrades that make this street
machine feel like an easy cruiser.
The F-100's classic curvy bodywork also manages to be sporty at the
same time. It is an excellent base for a custom hot rod build. But
this is more than just matte black that turns this classic pickup
into a street machine. This one likes a far smoother style, so the
chrome was expertly deleted, including the bumpers and badging.
This also has cleaner details with rounded door corners, deleted
cowl vents, integrated turn signals, and deleted vent windows. Now
you have a clean and beautiful canvas to showcase the full bold
pinstriping package. You see this hand-laid artwork all over the
truck, especially on the bed's hood, tailgate, and custom chest.
The green is the main color of the stripes, and it sets the tone
for other details like the color of the wheels and the tint of the
wood in the truck bed. So this loves to signal this is a
comprehensive build. That's why there are also many fun details,
like the louvered tailgate, classic Ford step plates, frenched
antenna, two-piece smoothie wheel trim, and clear tri-bar
headlights.
The black paint, whitewall tires, and custom white grille subtly
set a color theme that's continued inside. It makes the black seat
a focal point with its white piping and tuck-and-roll insert. The
side panels are even done to match. This loves to give you a
classic hot rod first impression with the tall piston shifter and
large horizontal tach on the dash. And the pinstriping is a nice
touch, too. But as you look over the full package, you start to see
just how updated and loaded the interior is. The AM/FM/XM radio
with CD changer control is hidden in the glove box. The classic
window cranks are for power windows. And there are flip-down hidden
air conditioning vents. The steering wheel may be an old-school
Ford unit, but it's now connected to smooth power steering. Even
the upgraded gauges have a retro style. So this classic hot rod is
an incognito-loaded cruiser.
The forward-tilting hood is a great way to signal to others you
have something special within. And in fact, you're going to be
lifting it everywhere you park so that you can showcase the
patriotic mural that's stunningly heartfelt. It's all part of a
package that shows they took extra time on this build. The engine
bay is why this Ford gets called a hot rod more than a restomod.
After all, they could have just dropped a crate motor here, but
instead, this takes extra time to be a cool, old-school custom. You
have Offenhauser finned valve covers, a cool color-coordinated
style, smooth inner fenders, and even classic racing stickers on
the firewall. And it's also got a terrific hot rod heart. It's a
312 cubic-inch V8 with an Offenhauser intake holding a triple set
of dual-barrel carburetors. So it's a true triple deuce classic.
Plus, the Comp Cams Mutha Thumpr camshaft gives the motor a better
performance attitude and a nice tune out of the dual exhaust. And
when it comes to pieces that are not on display, this one delivers
modern upgrades for a better cruiser. That's why you have Wilwood
power brakes, CPP front discs, a rear sway bar, and a modern tread
behind the classic whitewall style. There's even a four-speed
automatic transmission with cruiser-ready overdrive.
A ton of time, effort, and thought has gone into such a unique
build. So when you want hot rod style but restomod amenities, you
know this is your truck. Call now!
