1971 Detomaso Pantera push button early prototype serial number #1006 engine # 1004 listed in the Pantera registry as the earliest documented Pantera in history. This is the 6th Pantera ever built with the 4th engine ever put in a Pantera. It is believed to be the first complete Pantera ever sold and delivered to a retail customer. Original engine and ZF TRANSMISSION.Pantera number 1, 2 and 3 were built as prototype body’s only with no engine for show use only and are believed to be non existent ~destroyed.
