Vehicle Description
This 1971 Plymouth Duster is finished in green over black and was
modified under previous ownership with the installation of a
5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipment includes a three-speed transmission,
FAST electronic fuel injection, 17 aftermarket wheels, Wilwood disc
brakes front and rear, Hotchkis shocks, a twin-scoop hood, black
graphics, a Bluetooth stereo, and a fuel cell. This modified Duster
is offered in California with a clean Illinois title. The car is
finished in green, and features include black graphics on the sides
and rear, a twin-scoop hood with external latches, chrome-finished
bumpers, frameless door glass, and pop-out rear quarter windows.
Some imperfections in the finish are noted in the photos.
Chrome-finished 17 aftermarket wheels are mounted with a mix of
Ironman and Toyo tires. Wilwood disc brakes with cross-drilled and
slotted rotors are utilized front and rear, and Hotchkis shocks
have been installed. The interior features Scat Procar bolstered
front bucket seats and a rear bench, which are trimmed in black
over black carpeting. Aftermarket switchgear has been added to the
dashboard above an Alpine CD player with Bluetooth connectivity,
and a FAST EFI control module has also been mounted to the dash.
Other modifications include aftermarket kick panels with speakers,
speakers in the rear deck, a Cheetah SCS shifter, and Hemi Duster
identification. An aftermarket steering wheel sits ahead of
AutoMeter instrumentation in a custom panel that includes a 160-mph
speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and four auxiliary gauges. The
digital odometer shows 3k miles, less than 10 of which have been
added by Autolinx. True mileage is unknown. A Hyperfuel Systems
fuel cell is mounted in the trunk along with an Optima RedTop
battery and custom body-color trim panels. The 5.7-liter Hemi V8
was installed under previous ownership, during which the engine bay
was smoothed and refinished. Features include a Fuel Air Spark
Technology electronic fuel-injection system, an Indy Cylinder Head
Mod Man intake manifold, an MSD ignition system, and an aluminum
radiator.
