Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1997 Ferrari F355 GTS.
This is an Austrian-market example imported to the U.S. last fall;
major service with timing belt replacement took place in August
2022. Very clean and impeccably maintained with documented service
and ownership history to new. Finished in Rosso Corsa, paint meter
readings indicate original paint on all body panels. Complete
owner's books, factory tools and a certification booklet from an
Austrian Ferrari specialist (similar to the Ferrari Classiche Red
Book) are all included with the sale. Gorgeous factory 18-inch
wheels are wearing good Michelins.
Interior is in excellent original condition with leather seating
surfaces remaining soft and supple. Very good original door panels,
carpets, dash, steering wheel and removable roof panel. All gauges,
lights, switches and indicators are working as they should - the
only deviation from stock is a modern stereo mounted in the
console.
The 3.5 liter twin-cam V8 features five valves per cylinder; it
sounds incredible in its upper range and is quite exciting to drive
(especially when it comes on cam). The six-speed manual
transmission with gated shifter feels great with no crunchy
synchros (typical for any manual transmission Ferrari from this
era, second gear is a little stiff until it warms up). This F355
runs and drives well; it has a well-documented maintenance history
(including a recent timing belt service within the last year) -
it's serviced up and ready to enjoy. For more information about
this 1997 Ferrari F355 GTS 6-speed manual for sale at Motorcar
Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250.
