This car was a barn find in Texas where the current owner dusted off and purchased from the believed original family. The floor had been rusted through and a full frame-off restoration was done to replace the floor, sandblast the frame, and repainted in the original factory correct seabream green. In addition the bumpers have been re-chromed. The original vinyl showed cracking, therefore the entire interior has been reupholstered back to original spec. A new windshield was installed due to aging on the original glass which is available as well. The original 347ci V8 engine is untouched with all fluids changed, and some plugs replaced, with its original 33,000 miles. 5 brand new tires sit with original, polished hubs, and miraculously all lights, gauges, and signals work like new, including the original radio. The A/C compressor is running but needs attention. The Star Chief runs like it just rolled off the lot starting, stopping, shifting, and turning exactly as it should.
