Vehicle Description
2022 Subaru BRZ Limited - 2.4L H4 - 6 Speed Manual Transmission -
1370 Miles - 1 Owner - Ice Silver Metallic Over Black Interior -
Ceramic Coated Developed in conjunction with Toyota, the BRZ (and
brother Toyota GT86) were part of a project to create a car that
had a simple sports car feel. Front engine, rear wheel drive,
naturally aspirated engine, nimble, lightweight, balanced, and a
purposeful cockpit are all things that were pre-requisites when
coming up with the final product. From the same family is the early
'80's Toyota AE86 Corolla (Hachi Roku), which was built as a raw
sports car. The Hachi Roku's have become synonymous with drifting
culture over the years. The BRZ (and Toyota GT86) were developed
with that taken into consideration. The idea of a Subaru sports
car, AND a Subaru which engineers expect owners to be drifting
around in, seems a bit of a hair brained idea. Especially if you
take Subaru's long known mission to build road-going cars that
grip, and can handle a variety of terrain. With the BRZ, a car
wearing a Subaru badge is built to, and expected to, oversteer.
Call it what you will, but a new terrain for Subaru to participate
in is drifting. Not only does the oversteering capabilities make it
fun to drift, but it also helps to make this car a track day
weapon. Whatever you choose to do with it, you will have a great
deal of fun. For your consideration is this 2022 Subaru BRZ
Limited. The Limited model that you see here offers a few nice
features which the base BRZ doesn't have. Those features come in
the form of ultra-suede seating surfaces, heated front seats,
different door and dash trim, and steering responsive headlights.
Also part of the Limited package are the anthracite 18 wheels
wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot tires. Ice Silver Metallic paint
covers the mix of curves and chiseled lines that make up the
exterior of the car. The exterior has been well taken care of, and
the extra step of ceramic coating the paint has been taken. The
interior has been equally well taken care of with no notable wear
showing on any interior surfaces. A digital gauge cluster is framed
by the chunky steering wheel, and the large infotainment screen and
climate control system take up the center portion of the dashboard.
The gauge cluster can be programmed to show parameters like
acceleration g's, torque band, fuel level, coolant temperature, oil
temperature, as well as any driver assist reminders. Once in the
driver's seat, the shifter is close at hand, right along with the
handbrake. Under the hood is a 2.4 Liter flat-4 engine mated to a
6-speed manual transmission. The engine turns out 228 horsepower
and 184 lb/ft of torque, which happens to be just the right amount
of power to sprinkle a little oversteer into your driving
experience should you choose to do so. Subaru calls the new BRZ a,
high performance sports car, and we don't think they're too far off
with that statement. The BRZ is claimed to click through the
quarter mile traps at just under 14 seconds, and hit 60 from a
standstill in just under 5.5 seconds. Not too shabby for 228
horsepower. This is a car that was developed for enthusiasts by
enthusiasts. The BRZ is on numerous lists of the best new fun cars,
and even made Car and Driver magazine's 2023 Ten Best list. With a
BRZ parked in your garage you have the words track day weapon,
drift missile, or daily driver to describe the BRZ. Which term you
choose to adopt is up to you. Please call if interested or e-mail
