Vehicle Description
This 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a true low-mileage
modern classic. After all, it has automatic climate control, a
push-button ignition, plenty of airbags, and the best in technology
to make it a very current machine. But when you've also got a
fuel-injected LS3 V8, six-speed, and such an aggressive factory
body, it awakens the same kind of enthusiast driving spirit as all
the Corvettes before it.
Cyber Gray Metallic is a great paint for a car like this. It has a
sophisticated and modern tone, but the metallic element makes sure
the sunshine loves to radiate off the extra-clean creases of the
body. Competing for the shine are the great thin-spoke chrome
wheels. While these Grand Sport special alloys look great, they
actually serve the function of allowing for wider tires on these
widebody GS cars. In fact, the Grand Sport is specifically designed
to be a more competition-focused coupe. There are more intakes for
better inhaling, spoilers for better airflow, and plenty of scoops
in the sides to keep the brakes cool. It all makes for a more
aggressive look that also adds to its sports car function. But
while the GM engineers took their time creating a track-ready
masterpiece, this two-owner car barely looks like it ever hit the
road. After all, it has only averaged about 860 miles annually. So
instead, this is a well-documented time capsule. In fact, the only
thing that you may spot that's out of place is the set of tail
lights. We love how the upgraded LEDs have a steely gray style that
goes with the rest of the car, and purists know how easy it is to
return it fully to stock.
This may have a similar body to a Corvette Z06, but one thing the
GS offers that's not in the other is the hallmark targa roof. So
this one takes full advantage of that with the upgraded optional
transparent roof panel. In fact, this is a loaded top-trim 3LT
coupe, and so the super-clean black interior is also exceptionally
luxurious. You also have a long list of desirable features,
including dual-zone automatic A/C climate control, power seats,
heated seats, power windows, power locks, keyless entry/ignition,
and cruise control. The radio is an upgraded touchscreen
infotainment system that runs the Bose stereo, Bluetooth, and
backup camera (the stock unit also comes with the sale.) A modern
classic also gets modern safety features such as dual front
airbags, side airbags, and ABS. Such low mileage means the leather
seats have such little seat time. And as good as this looks and
feels, we know you'll be adding to the low odometer. You'll love
the tingle of performance that comes from grabbing the
leather-wrapped sports steering wheel and the outstanding rumble
that happens every time you fire up the V8. Plus, with the head-up
display, you never need to take your eyes off the road ahead.
The 6.2-liter fuel-injected LS3 motor is now legendary in Corvette
circles. It was an awesome powerhouse that unleashed the C6
Corvette's full sports car sensation. This one retains the same
fresh and respected look as the whole car, and so you don't even
have to unleash the full 436 horsepower for this motor to be
impressive. One of the reasons why this is both a collector and a
driver is the desirable six-speed manual transmission. It means you
not only do you get full control of the V8, but also these have a
dry-sump oiling system. In fact, this has all the best driving
features. That's why you have the variable ratio power steering,
active handling for the fully independent sports suspension, a
limited-slip rear end, four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled
rotors, and dual-mode exhaust system.
A car made to be a proper collectible also comes with the right
extras. This includes a car cover, original brochures, maintenance
records, service manuals, and the original window sticker - showing
over $11k in options! This is a two-owner low-mileage modern
classic. So if you love them sleek, mean, and fresh, don't miss
this Grand Sport. Call today!!!
