1981 DeLorean DMC-12 for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to
present this well preserved DMC DeLorean. This 12,763 mile original
owner DMC was purchased new from Clem Ruh Chevrolet of Canoga Park,
California in 1982 where it resided until purchased in 2021. The
Giugiaro penned DMC-12 Car features brushed stainless steel body,
gray interior over a Lotus Esprit derived chassis powered by a 2.8
5-liter PRV V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. This DMC has
all its original paperwork including window sticker, sales
agreement, original temporary California registration and warranty
paperwork. $10,000 in updates in 2021 with all original DMC parts
and service done personally by worldwide DeLorean expert, Robert
Grady of famed P.J. Grady, Inc, the oldest DeLorean dealer in the
Country including flush clutch; new tires, replace all post weather
stripping; remove, replace and install new braided engine fuel
hoses; replace fuel filter, complete engine tune up, replace water
pump pulley, thermostat and bladder; remove manifolds and replace
all seals, gaskets, fasteners and vacuum hoses; replace coolant
tank; replace all rear engine hoses, new brake master cylinder. New
taillight circuit board and struts for trunk, doors and engine
cover have been updated with new DMC original parts. All
electronics, including radio and clock are in working condition.
A/C blows cold. Right and left window motors replaced. This example
is in stunning condition and is ready for its next owner!
