This 1967 Pontiac Firebird is a well-presented classic with a cool
color combo, sporty flair, and a rarely-seen bench seat interior.
Plus, the small block under the hood has the right upgrades to have
some potential for serious fun.
The red paint has a bold presence, and it has a nice glow in the
sunshine that you want on a true cruiser. Plus, the chin spoiler,
full-width rear spoiler, and Rally II wheels with raised white
letter tires add to the sporty feeling. There are even nice details
like the way the sheet metal retains its crisp pleat running down
the side. It makes for the overall impression of a clean and
attractive driver-ready classic. There's also just something
special about the first-ever Firebird. Pontiac made quite a bold
statement with the chrome bumper that was the focal point of the
front end and even merged with the hood design.
The black interior is very vintage, and we find that very
attractive. Everything from the three-stock feeling wheel to the AM
radio on display has a stock feel. Not much here has been touched,
and that's ok. After all, someone may have taken away the Strato
bench front seat over the years. But that bucket style with a
folding armrest center is now a feature we rarely see and love to
point out. Plus, clean fundamentals like carpeting and headliner
keep this feeling quite inviting.
Under the hood is the solid look of power. The 350 Chevy small
block V8s are known for being hardy motors that love upgrades. This
one has been enhanced with the best pieces, like a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and headers.
Plus, there are good supporting components like an MSD ignition and
an aluminum radiator. The V8 fires up readily, idles nicely, and
makes a terrific tune out of the glasspack-style dual exhaust. So
it's an attractive powerhouse that only gets better when you take a
little extra time to dial it in exactly how you want it. And this
already comes with the right cruising features like power steering,
and power brakes. Plus the TH400 three-speed is the ideal balance
of a stout construction and smooth automatic shifting.
This is an attractive Firebird coupe that has a sharp style,
distinct features, and an extra powerful heart. That makes for an
attractive way to own an icon. Call today!!!
