1959 Chevrolet Apache Regular Cab Shortbox Stepside Restomod
finished in Silver Metallic paint. This one comes nicely loaded
with 4-corner disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, aluminum
radiator, 3.73 positraction rear end, 4-link coil over suspension,
Flowmaster exhaust, tilt column, Camaro front suspension, and
modern A/C. A/C BLOWS COLD! Chrome and brightwork have been painted
for a more uniform silver look. The heart of this build is a 6.0L
LS V8 that is paired up with a 4L60E automatic with overdrive
transmission. The previous owner states the engine is a fresh build
with 400 miles or less on it (as of this writing). Riding on the
American Racing 5-spoke wheels with Toyo tires. Interior is
furnished with a nice black/heather vinyl bench seat with cloth
inlays and seatbelts. Dakota digital gauges have been installed in
the dash as well as a new Boss Audio stereo and vintage A/C
controls. Truck bed is done up with stainless steel inlays and
antiqued wood, a nice contrast to the otherwise new interior. Gas
fill is located in the bed. Previous owner has added small magnets
to the tailgate to keep the chains in place on both sides and from
damaging the paint. Side exiting exhaust just before the rear
wheels. Great sounding Chevrolet Apache Restomod!
